I’m 29 years old
And a Capricorn -
But I desperately wish my birthday was in the summer!
I love warm weather.
I’m also plant-based,
and was vegan for about 4 years!
I started off as a photography major in college,
but quickly realized my love for literature outweighed my hobby of snapping pictures.
I haven’t travelled much yet -
But I have a bucket list! (Scotland and Seoul are at the top)
One thing that surprised me about working in games was how many great opportunities for travelling there was - I’ve been really grateful for it!
I’m bilingual (French and English,)
But I speak some Italian and Korean
I love watching things in different languages…linguistics is so interesting to me!
Soccer and tennis were my favorite sports growing up…
But I LOVE trying new sports.
I am completely enamored with Aerial Arts and regularly do Pole, Hoop and Trapeze.
My favorite book is Outlander, by Diana Gabaldon -
Which coincidentally is also my favorite show…they did an amazing job adapting it!
Queer As Folk is probably the only other show I’ve re-watched as much as Outlander. It’s my version of Friends!
Book-wise, I also love If I Stay by Gayle Forman, Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick and Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr.
Concerts are my favorite type of outing!
My favorite movies are Lovely Bones and Spirited Away
I have 13 tattoos.
I would love to get something Spirited Away or Inuyasha-themed next.
I’m incredibly indecisive! …but I’m working on it! Ask me how it’s going in another 10 years.
I’m most creative when travelling and left in peace alone with my music.
My dream vacation involves anything with camping, outdoors or being in the wilderness,
But I’d pick going to a city over a beach resort any day!
If I suddenly changed career paths, I would have loved to become a paramedic or certified as a fitness intrustor -
One hobby I would love to learn is knitting or crochet.
I am SO tone-deaf when it comes to singing,
But I’d love to learn piano! It’s my favorite instrument.
What I’m currently writing influences what I’m listening to a lot…I have a lot of wildly different playlists.
I could listen to Placebo, Aurora and Tom Odell on repeat for the rest of my life
But more recently I’ve been obsessed with Katarsis, YUNGBLUD and The Happy Fits.
I also love groups like Heilung and Wardruna!
I love taking writing workshops...it’s really fun to meet other writers and see how others approach the art!
I truly believe you can never stop learning.
Fun fact: I remember getting an assignment in eighth grade science class once, asking us to rank what we thought the most important qualities in a person were - my #1 was being open-minded. My answer is still the same today!
One of my favorite hobbies is archery - I’d love to get a membership somewhere and purchase my own bow!
Some other things I’d love to take classes for are sword fighting and horseback riding - can you tell I like fantasy yet? :p
Some of my favorite titles are Final Fantasy X, Days Gone, the Uncharted Series and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
But whenever I’m sad, sick or down, I always turn to Stardew Valley. Its the best medicine.
I have an unhealthy amount of love for hedgehogs (they’re adorable, okay?)
I was hedge-mom to Oakley — the sweetest whilst grumpiest creature you’ve ever met for 3 amazing years.
I enjoy tea but my blood is made up of coffee through and through.
My favorite cuisine is Korean - not only are there lots of veggie options, but I always over order on purpose because the leftovers are the best part!
I love to collect Game Art Books and old cameras (the first was my grandfathers film camera).
Food with friends is the key to my heart - a good meal with a best friend can turn a really bad day into something fun, unexpected and comforting <3
